Alaska Weddings in The Wonder are Wonderful!

Our 1500-square-foot open-air structure known as The Wonder has a clear roof covering, log and frame construction, and a beach-wood and rock trim - it's the ideal location to host a wedding.Our wedding venue services the Homer, Alaska area, as well as other communities on the Kenai Peninsula, Anchorage, Fairbanks, and other locations around Alaska. Are you out-of-state and considering a destination wedding? Bear Paw Adventure can host up to 32 guests on property in our four lodgings and help you accommodate additional guests in the surrounding area.

Unique and Affordable Wedding Venue

Get married surrounded by the natural beauty of Alaska! Our venue is in a private location where couples can focus on their love for each other in an intimate setting immersed in nature. You'll find no shortage of great photo spots among the wildflowers, spruce, alders, and our reflection pond. Enjoy the evening with friends and family on the driftwood seats in the campfire area.

We have three wedding packages available to meet your needs. Our packages are designed with you in mind to help reduce your planning and focus on affordability. We are happy to modify these packages for you to create the wedding of your dreams.

Wedding Packages

Unique Outdoor Alaska Setting

All of our Wedding Packages include the following:

  • Use of our unique pavilion, The Wonder
  • Indoor space for day-of ceremony preparations and lodging
  • Access to the beautiful homestead property with picture-perfect photo spots, including a reflection pond
  • Fire pit with firewood
  • Conveniently located nearby restroom building
  • Refreshments/bar area
  • Gravel parking area for guests
  • Recommended vendors to help you pull together the perfect wedding

The Elopement Package

Up to 25 people | $3,350 with lodging

The Elopement Package is designed to fit the needs for those seeking a shorter stay with a smaller party. It includes everything noted in our wedding package and the following:

Bride and groom share a kiss in a sunlit field filled with wildflowers.
  • Use of our unique pavilion, The Wonder, for 24 hours (noon to noon.)
  • Built-in bench seating for approximately 20 guests
  • Evening and overnight use of our premium long home, Bear Den, as a bridal suite and overnight accommodations for two
    Up to eight additional guests may stay in the Bear Den, at an additional cost per person.
