Bear Paw Adventure Lodging Policies
Privacy Notice: At Bear Paw Adventure, we are dedicated to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personally identifiable information.
Our main purpose in collecting your personal information is to provide you with a streamlined experience in making reservations at Bear Paw Adventure. We only collect information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this. Personally identifiable information is only obtained when making a reservation.
At Bear Paw Adventure we take security seriously. When users make a reservation we use every precaution to safe guard it online and offline.
Bear Paw Adventure may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time in order to meet changes in the regulatory environment, business needs, or to satisfy the needs of our guests, properties, strategic marketing partners, and service providers.
Non Smoking Facility
No smoking is permitted in any of the buildings at Bear Paw Adventure and guests who smoke are asked to do so well outside and away from the buildings. In this case, you must dispose of cigarette butts properly to avoid starting a fire or littering the premises. An additional cleaning fee of $150 plus damages will be charged in event that smoking is found to have created an odor or caused damage at any of the buildings.
Check in and Departure Times
Check in time is after 4:00 PM and Check out time is before 10:00 AM. If you would like different times, please check with us and we may be able to accommodate you, depending on the building cleaning schedule. Late check outs without permission will be charged $20 for the first hour, $50 for the second hour or part of an hour, and $100 for each additional hour or part of an hour.
Everybody gets Preferred Guest service at Bear Paw Adventure. That starts with bypassing the check in desk upon arrival. Go straight to your first class log vacation home and enter the code sent to you with your reservation into the electronic door lock.
Inside the building, you will find a welcome letter. If you need help or just someone to talk to, call the number indicated in the letter. We are on the property and ready to serve you.
Damages
Guests are responsible for any damage that they cause to Bear Paw Adventure’s buildings, furnishings or other of Bear Paw's property. If any act, default or neglect by a Guests results in damage or complaints from other customers, Guests shall be liable to pay to Bear Paw Adventure on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage. In event of such damages, Guests are requested to bring the damage to the attention of Bear Paw Adventure prior to or at the time of their check out and before departure.
Interruption of Business
In the event of willful or negligent interruption by a Guest to the business of Bear Paw Adventure or to the reservations of other customers, Bear Paw Adventure will charge the amount of any loss to the Guest and terminate the reservation. Bear Paw Adventure will not be liable for any refund or compensation in such circumstances.
Registered Guests Only
Unless authorized by management, only registered lodging guests and Bear Paw staff are permitted inside a building or on the property. Unauthorized guests could put “at risk” other guests or Bear Paw Adventure staff. Registered lodging guests agree to be responsible for all expenses, cleaning costs, damages, or losses caused by unauthorized guests that they invited or permitted into or onto the property. To avoid penalties, all guests must register in advance with Bear Paw Adventure - providing their name, address and age if under 21.
Minimum Age Limit, Alcohol Consumption and Illegal Substances
Each reservation must be made by and include at least one guests who is age 21 or older. Bear Paw Adventure does not provide or serve alcoholic beverages to any guests. Alcohol consumption on the property by guests under the legal drinking age or the use of any illegal substances can result in termination of a reservation without refund.
Parties and Gatherings that include Guests who not Lodging at Bear Paw Adventure
Events that include guests other than registered lodging guests are not allowed unless they are authorized in advance. A fee may be assessed for these activities. If you plan to have such an event, schedule it at the time you make your reservation. We will be happy to help your group have a great time.
Payments, Cancellations & Refunds
A deposit equal to 15% of the cost for your lodging is required in order to confirm your reservation. Adventures and tours included in your reservation generally require a 50% deposit. Balance payment of the amount for your reservation is typically required 30 days in advance of your check in or adventure date. See our wedding page for deposits required for wedding venue reservations.
We will refund your payment for lodging or adventures (less 15% of the total lodging or adventure cost), if you cancel at least 30 days in advance of the check in date or date of the adventure. No refunds with cancellations made less than 30 days from the date of check in or date of the adventure. Deposits and payments made for the Wedding Venue are non-refundable.
If you have a reservation with one of our adventure service partners, their deposit charge and cancellation fee may be higher and if so those requirements will apply.
If adventure trips are canceled because of weather, your options generally are to re-book the canceled trip if space is available, or your available refund will be specified by the adventure service provider.
Children are welcome at Bear Paw Adventure. Up to two children (per reservation) under the age of 8 stay free with accompanying adult.
COVID-19 Special: No cancellation charges for 2021 lodging or wedding reservations that cannot be completed due to COVID-19 regulations. If your reservation includes service by others, such as a tour operator, their COVID-19 provisions may apply to that portion of your reservation instead.
Pets
We enjoy pets but many of our guests express concerns with pet allergies. Pets are not permitted inside any of Bear Paw Adventure’s buildings. A cleaning charge of $300 will apply if pets or evidence of pets are found inside your building.
Other Terms
Responsibility
The Wise Old Hunter Lodge, the Bear Den Vacation Home, the Anchor Point Captain Cook Lodge and Moose Cabin are owned and operated by Bear Paw Adventure. Bear Paw Adventure neither controls, nor operates, nor is responsible for the actions of independent operators such as transporters, fishing charters and tour operators.
Bear Paw Adventure’s responsibility does not extend beyond the Wise Old Hunter Lodge, the Bear Den Vacation Home, the Anchor Point Captain Cook Lodge and Moose Cabin.
General Terms
The cost for your reservation is based on the number of guests in your party and the number nights included in your stay. The minimum charge for each building is based on two guests, and an additional charge applies for the 3rd and each subsequent guest.
The right is reserved by Bear Paw Adventure to cancel or alter any reservation as current conditions require. In event that Bear Paw Adventure cancels all or part of a reservation because of reasons not due to your actions, the unused portion of your reservation will be refunded. Bear Paw Adventure will not be held responsible for any other expenses that result due to delay or cancellation.
Your reservation and indicated charges are for accommodations at Bear Paw Adventure and for the charters specifically included in your reservation. Not included are meals, transportation, license, processing or the cost of other charters and services that you might book independently.
Acceptance
By payment of your deposit and/or the balance amount, you indicate your acceptance of these conditions.
