Bear Paw Adventure Lodging Policies

Privacy Notice: At Bear Paw Adventure, we are dedicated to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personally identifiable information.

Our main purpose in collecting your personal information is to provide you with a streamlined experience in making reservations at Bear Paw Adventure. We only collect information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this. Personally identifiable information is only obtained when making a reservation.

At Bear Paw Adventure we take security seriously. When users make a reservation we use every precaution to safe guard it online and offline.

Bear Paw Adventure may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time in order to meet changes in the regulatory environment, business needs, or to satisfy the needs of our guests, properties, strategic marketing partners, and service providers.

Non Smoking Facility

No smoking is permitted in any of the buildings at Bear Paw Adventure and guests who smoke are asked to do so well outside of the buildings and to prevent smoke from entering the building. In this case, you must dispose of cigarette butts properly to avoid starting a fire and to avoid littering the premises. An additional fee of $150 will be charged in event that smoking is found to have created an odor or damage inside of any of the buildings.

Check in and Departure Times

Check in time is after 4:00 PM and Check out time is before 10:00 AM. If you would like different times, please check with us and we may be able to accommodate you, depending on the building cleaning schedule.  Late check outs without permission will be charged $20 for the first hour, $50 for the second hour or part of an hour, and $100 for each additional hour or part of an hour. 

Everybody gets Preferred Guest service at Bear Paw Adventure. That starts with bypassing the check in desk upon arrival. Go straight to your first class log vacation home and enter the code sent to you with your reservation into the electronic door lock.

Inside the building, you will find a welcome letter. If you need help or just someone to talk to, call the number indicated in the letter. We are on property and ready to serve you.

Damages

Guests are responsible for any damage that they cause to Bear Paw Adventure’s buildings, furnishings or other of Bear Paw's property. If any act, default or neglect by a Guests results in damage or complaints from other customers, Guests shall be liable to pay to Bear Paw Adventure on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage. In event of such damages, Guests are requested to bring the damage to the attention of Bear Paw Adventure prior to or at the time of their check out and before departure.

Interruption of Business

In the event of willful or negligent interruption by a Guest to the business of Bear Paw Adventure or to the reservations of other customers, Bear Paw Adventure will charge the amount of any loss to the Guest and terminate the reservation. Bear Paw Adventure will not be liable for any refund or compensation in such circumstances.

Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

A deposit equal to the cost for your first 3 night’s lodging is required in order to confirm your reservation. Reservations of one or two nights and reservations made within 30 days of check in require full payment at the time the reservation is made. Balance payment of the amount for your reservation is required 30 days in advance of your check in date.

We will refund your payment (less 15% of the total cost of the reservation), if you cancel your reservation at least 30 days in advance of the check in date. No refunds with cancellations made less than 30 days from the date of check in.  If you make your reservation through one of our on line booking partners, their cancellation fee may be higher and if so that fee will apply.

Others, such as transportation, fishing charter and tour operators have other deposit & cancellation policies and these are not controlled by Bear Paw Adventure. Refer to their individual policies for those conditions.

Children

Children are welcome at Bear Paw Adventure. Up to two children under the age of 8 (per reservation) stay free with accompanying adult.

Pets

We enjoy pets but many of our guests express concerns with pet allergies. Pets are not permitted inside any of Bear Paw Adventure’s buildings. A charge of $300.00 will apply if pets or evidence of pets are found in any of the buildings.

Other Terms

Responsibility

The Wise Old Hunter Lodge, the Bear Den Vacation Home, the Anchor Point Captain Cook Lodge and Moose Cabin are owned and operated by Bear Paw Adventure. Bear Paw Adventure neither controls, nor operates, nor is responsible for the actions of independent operators such as transporters, fishing charters and tour operators.

Bear Paw Adventure’s responsibility does not extend beyond the Wise Old Hunter Lodge, the Bear Den Vacation Home, the Anchor Point Captain Cook Lodge and Moose Cabin.

General Terms

The right is reserved by Bear Paw Adventure to cancel or alter any reservation as current conditions require. In event that Bear Paw Adventure cancels all or part of a reservation because of reasons not due to your actions, the unused portion of your reservation will be refunded. Bear Paw Adventure will not be held responsible for any other expenses that result due to delay or cancellation.

Your reservation and indicated charges for accommodations at Bear Paw Adventure do not include meals, transportation, or charges for tours, license, fishing charters, processing or for other adventures and services.

Acceptance

By payment of your deposit and/or the balance amount, you indicate your acceptance of these conditions.
