Wise Old Hunter Lodge Guest (2009): “Beautiful, comfortable, peaceful and
friendly. A
misunderstanding about an apartment we thought we had rented in Homer ended
with us at Bear Paw in Anchor Point. What a lucky “mistake” for us. We were
so fortunate – nothing could top this. The house is a work of art.” Janice,
from Rio Linda, California. |

Moose Cabin (2009) – party of 2: ‘Never having been to Alaska, I had no idea
what to expect. We stayed in several places on the Kenai [Peninsula] and
Bear Paw Adventure was by far the best place we stayed. The Moose Cabin had
everything we needed including a deck to view the beautiful scenery. I loved
flipping through the stores of John’s Moose hunting adventures and being
able to pick up souvenirs right in the cabin was great.” Ann Marie from
Glendale, California |

Wise Old Hunter Lodge Guest (2009): “Great, beautiful cabin, very friendly
hosts. Wonderful area to visit. Every person we came into contact with was
exceptionally friendly and helpful. We felt like we were part of the
community. Thank you for the use of the fishing poles. My son and I would
like to thank you for helping arrange our trip to Alaska and for the
beautiful accommodations at your cabin. The cabin was beautiful and we
couldn’t have asked for anything nicer. Also, thank you for getting us in
touch with” (the fishing charter services). “Both were very good
experiences.” (The halibut charter) “was excellent. I hope to come back
another year with the whole family and will definitely stay with you again.
Thanks again.” Paul from Colleyville, Texas. |

Moose Cabin Guest (2009): “Everything was terrific. Cabin was well stocked,
everything worked fine.Cabin was very clean and well organized. About the
only suggestion for change is the low hanging log from the hallway into the
dining room – close calls with head bonks. Maybe hang something from it to
prevent people form inadvertently bumping it.” Ron from San Jose,
California. |

Moose Cabin Guest (2009): “This was an awesome place! It was all too good.
Great location, great cabin and all that good stuff. The owners were very

| Wise Old Hunter Lodge and Moose Cabin (2009) - party of 9: “Very nice ‘hidden treasure’ – Very accommodating for a large group. Happily surprised. Will definitely return.” Cathie in the Wise Old Hunter Lodge from Buhl, Idaho. “We made food in the cabin, saved us a bunch in meals! We found our stay surprisingly relaxed. We had a ball. Our other party stayed in the Wise Old Hunter Lodge. I really appreciated the runway between the two cabins.” Guests in the Moose Cabin. | ||

Moose Cabin Guest (2009): “We loved it. The cabin is so nice. John greeted
us; and then a moose walked up right behind the cabin our first night. What
more could you ask for? Favorite place to eat – Fresh fish at the cabin,
thanks for the grill! “Diane from Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas |
