Experience Alaska the way it was meant to be!
Guided 6-8 hour trips on Cook Inlet are available from nearby local
charter services. These can be halibut, salmon, or combination halibut and
salmon trips that launch from the beach at Anchor Point or from the Homer
Boat Harbor. Most charters operate May through August, but a few charters
are available year round. Rates vary but are generally in the range of $200
to $275 per person during the summer months, for six-pack trips (maximum of
6 clients). Guided, power-boat or float fishing charters on the nearby
rivers are also available at $275/person. You can make your reservation
directly with the charter operators, or ask Bear Paw Adventure for free help
with these reservations. The above prices are subject to change.
The Anchor River (about 2 miles from your lodging at Bear Paw Adventure) and
other nearby waters including the Homer Spit fishing hole, offer excellent
opportunity for unguided (free) fishing.
