about bears. Bears range over most of Alaska & both black and brown bear
will be found on the Kenai Peninsula. However, visitors expecting to see
bears during casual travel about the Peninsula are likely to be
disappointed. The best way to see & photograph bears is to sign up for one
of the exciting bear viewing tours. You will depart by float plane on these
tours and most will take you to Katmai National Park. Trips are available
May 15 to September 15 and cost $395 to $635. Prices are subject to change.
